Detective Jeffrey Friedman is a character in the Beverly Hills Cop film series, appearing in the first two movies.
He is portrayed by Paul Reiser.

He appears in the films as a good friend and occasional partner of Axel Foley's in the Detroit Police Department. Due to Foley's antics, Friedman often tries to cover for Axel and usually gets the heat from Inspector Douglas Todd.
